JK govt withdrawing Cong leaders' security cover to hamper their poll campaign: Mir

The Jammu and Kashmir Congress Tuesday accused the state administration of withdrawing the security cover of several party leaders to hamper their poll campaign, specially in militancy-hit south Kashmir. "The governor's administration has deliberately withdrawn the security cover of Congress leaders in J&K," said J&K Pradesh Congress Committee president Gulam Ahmed Mir. DMRC Phase IV: Centre revised proposal unilaterally, without justification, says Delhi Govt

The Delhi Government on Tuesday accused the Centre of revising the component-wise cost for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Phase IV project without assigning any "reason or justification".In a statement, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot's Office said: "The component-wise cost has been revised by the Government of India unilaterally without assigning any reasons or justification.
