Reliance Jio led active wireless subscriber additions in July at 6.1 million, while Bharti Airtel's active user adds stood at 2.3 million, according to latest data by TRAI. Riding on the strong gains, Jio has scaled up its active subscriber market share, with its user tally on this count pegged at 346.49 million, analysts said crunching July telecom subscription numbers released by the sector regulator. Motilal Oswal, in its report, said that Reliance Jio had active subscriber additions of 6.1 million (as against 2.4 million additions in June) reaching about 346 million users in July. "RJio gained 40 basis points in active subscriber market share and now shares market leadership position with Bharti," it said. Bharti saw active subscriber additions of 2.3 million to touch 346 million, although its active users adds were slower than last month (2.4 million additions in June).
