Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday announced its foray into the CNG segment with the launch of Glanza and Urban Cruiser Hyryder trims with the environment-friendly powertrain. The two CNG trims of Glanza are priced at Rs 8.43 lakh and Rs 9.46 lakh respectively. The company, however, did not disclose the price of Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG variants. Toyota Kirloskar Motor wholesales up 6% at 13,143 units in October

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Tuesday reported a 6 per cent increase in domestic wholesales at 13,143 units in October. The company had sold 12,440 units in the same month last year in the domestic market, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) said in a statement. "Demand continues to grow as we witness strong bookings for the self charging hybrid electric model - Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The brand-new SUV from Toyota has received a phenomenal response with booking orders exceeding our expectations," TKM Associate Vice President, Sales, and Strategic Marketing Atul Sood said in a statement. Deliveries of the model are also in full swing, he added. "Our flagship models like the Innova Crysta petrol, Fortuner, Legender, Camry and Vellfire continue to garner good traction both in terms of enquiries as well as orders," Sood said.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Wednesday said the prices of its sports utility vehicle Urban Cruiser Hyryder would range between Rs 10.48 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The trims with 1.5 litre-petrol powertrain mated with mild hybrid technology are priced between Rs 10.48 lakh and Rs 17.09 lakh, while the all-wheel drive variant is tagged at Rs 17.19 lakh, the automaker said in a statement. The three trims with strong self-charging hybrid technology are priced at Rs 15.11 lakh, Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh, respectively. The strong hybrid trims offer a fuel efficiency of 27.97 kilometre per litre, the company claimed.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Friday said the top four trims of its sports utility vehicle Urban Cruiser Hyryder are priced between Rs 15.11 lakh and 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The three trims with strong self-charging hybrid technology are priced at Rs 15.11 lakh, Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh, respectively.
