Lead prices traded lower by 0.41% to Rs 120.90 per kg in futures trade today on sluggish domestic demand amid a weak global trend.

At Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in October traded lower by 50 paise, or 0.41%, to Rs 120.90 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,211 lots.

September lead weakened by 40 paise, or 0.33%, to Rs 120.60 per kg, with a business turnover of 8,235 lots.

Marketmen said sluggish domestic demand amid a weak global trend caused lead prices to trade lower at futures trade.

Meanwhile, lead declined 0.8% to $2,239.50 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
