Aptech allots 22 lakh shares to shareholders of Maya Ent

Global learning solutions major Aptech Ltd today said it has issued shares worth Rs 47.45 crore to 19 shareholders of Maya Entertainment Ltd.

The shareholders of the company have approved allotment of 21.96 lakh preferential shares to 19 entities of Maya Entrainment at Rs 216 a piece, totalling to Rs 47.45 crore, Aptech Ltd said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

In January, Aptech had acquired Maya Entrainment for Rs 75.85 crore and entered into share purchase agreement.

The shares have been alloted under the share purchase agreement entered by both the companies to shareholders including Enam Securities, Concept Communications, Rajesh Turakhia and others.

Shares of Aptech were trading at Rs 180 on the BSE, up 5.79 per cent from previous close.
