BG Raghupathy's daughter joins BGR Energy board

Swarnamugi Karthik, daughter of BG Raghupathy, promoter of BGR Energy Systems Ltd, has been inducted as whole-time director in the company. She has been appointed as director - corporate strategy by the board with immediate effect. Thirty-one year old Swarnamugi's role would be to formulate strategies to achieve corporate goals and identify new business opportunities. She is an engineering graduate from Madras University and holds a postgraduate qualification in Embedded Systems. She joined the company in 2005 as executive assistant to the president.
