Channels, Big Ad-Spenders Hunt Truce

Even as the big advertisers like Hindustan Lever (HLL), Colgate and Nestle continue to hold out on the service tax issue, a number of small advertisers have agreed to bear this burden.

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) India has reached an agreement with the majority of its clients who have agreed to pay the entire extra 5 per cent service tax. The channel is hopeful of airing their commercials from tomorrow.
