Cox & Kings net up 35%

Travel company Cox & Kings posted a 35 per cent jump in its net profit for the fourth quarter of FY 2010 mainly aided by higer profit margins it recorded during the quarter.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 44.99 crore in Q4 of FY 2010 as compared to Rs 33.32 crore it posted in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

The company’s income from operations went up 66 per cent at Rs 136.92 crore during the March quarter of FY 2010 as compared to Rs 82.40 crore it posted in the Q4 of FY 2009.

 

The company posted gross profit margin of 59 per cent  in Q4 of 2010 as compared to 56 per cent in Q4 of FY 2009.
