Gujarat State Fertilize & Chemicals Limited (GSFC) has bagged four awards for excellence in various categories at the recently held Fertilizer Association of India (FAI) awards.
The Gujarat public sector unit was awarded for excellence in production, promotion and marketing of biofertilizer, best production performance of an operating phosphoric acid plant, FAI Environmental Protection Award and was runner up for FAI Award for the best production performance of nitrogenous plant for the year 2012-13.
"The present FAI recognition/s speaks for our efforts to emerge as a pioneer in Fertilizer as well as Chemical production with complete matching concern for safe environment, ethics and values. GSFC has been consistently putting its all-round efforts towards achieving excellence in Production and Environment Care," the company said in a statement.
