Ispat net at Rs 233 cr

Ispat Industries reported a net loss of Rs 232.83 crore for the quarter ended September 30. Income was up two per cent at Rs 1,337.64 crore compared with Rs 1,311.15 crore in the previous quarter.

For the half-year ended September 30 the company reported a profit of Rs 196.91 crore. The unprecedented monsoon in Maharashtra, especially in the Konkan region, affected the comapany's steel complex in Dolvi.

The fire at Bombay High resulted in lower productivity, said a company release. .
