Live Market brings NSE on cell phones

Live Market Watch Solutions, an ADS Group of company based out of Bangalore, has announced new products for the dissemination of stock market data on mobile phones.

Sharing details on the products, Brijesh Patel, partner, Live Market Watch said, the products were born out of the need to have live feed from stock exchange for investors on the move and who need to be in constant touch with the market and take informed decisions.

"The new solution brings feed from the NSE right onto the mobile phone and to enjoy the service, one needs to have GPRS subscription," he added.

According to the company, one of the key points, which the team kept in mind during development of the product, was to keep the product independent of any stockbroker and also independent of any mobile service provider, he said. The product runs without any feed from any broker.

Live Market Watch Solutions has two products including LMW-Pro, that gives live info every second on the phone and LMW-Lite, which gives live info every 10 seconds. Patel said that the company planned to introduce NSE derivatives, BSE, MCX and NCDEX feed in the future.

A user of both the products can create his/her own watch list and watch the last traded price (LTP) of all scrips in watch list live. The user can also watch details such as buy quantity, buy price, sell price, sell quantity, last traded price for the chosen scrip.

According to the company, the user can also watch intra-day graph of any of the six indices of the NSE and also intra-day graph of any scrip. Besides, user can also set price alerts for any scrip, modify the watch list and receive incoming calls while the NSE data is being streamed. The data service is paused during voice call. User can also make payment on the mobile as well as on the website of the company.
