M&M registers 7% growth in tractor sales

Mahindra & Mahindra Farm Equipment Sector, a part of the Mahindra Group, today reported a seven per cent growth in tractor sales at 7,475 units in July, 2008, against 7,007 units in the same month last year.

In the domestic market, the tractor maker sold 6,451 units in July this year, against 6,387 units in the same month last year, it said in a statement.

The exports grew 65 per cent to 1,024 units, compared to 620 units in the same month last year.
