Munjal Showa Q1 net profit dips 14%

Reacting to the numbers, the shares of the company were trading 2.82% down at Rs 74 apiece on the BSE

Auto component maker Munjal Showa today reported 14.32% decline in its net profit for the quarter ended June 30 at Rs 13.52 crore.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 15.78 crore in the corresponding period last year, Munjal Showa said in a filing to the BSE.

The net sales of the company during the first quarter, however, increased by 12.62% to Rs 419.84 crore from Rs 372.79 crore in the year-ago period, it added.

Reacting to the numbers, the shares of the company were trading 2.82% down at Rs 74 apiece on the BSE.
