Mylan Labs bags Rs 683-crore order from South Africa

Mylan Laboratories Limited, the Indian subsidiary of Mylan Inc, has been selected as one of the suppliers of anti-retroviral (ARV) drugs for treating HIV patients to the South African health department for a two-year period starting January 1, 2013.

The company, through its South African subsidiary Mylan Limited, has secured a Rand 1.12-billion (Rs 683 crore) order, representing 19.1 per cent of the total tender value.
