Ruchi Soya net rises 41%

Ruchi Soya Industries, the market leader in edible oils and soya foods industry, has posted 40.86 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 48.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009, as compared with Rs 34.25 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Net sales of the company rose sharply by 24.83 per cent from Rs 2,552.31 crore to Rs 3,186.10 crore during the period under consideration.
