Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) today launched the automatic version of Sonata Embera Diesel CRDi. With this addition, the Sonata Embera is now available in four variants including petrol and diesel.

Priced at Rs 15.71 lakh, the new Sonata Embera CRDi automatic has 4-speed H-matic transmission, which offers two modes - fully automatic or the traditional manual shift. It comes with a ground clearance of 170 mm suiting Indian needs.

The company said that it is setting up a second plant, which will produce an additional 3,00,000 units per annum, and raise HMIL
