As part of its plan to expand its operations in the Andhra Pradesh region, telecom operator Uninor will be deploying an additional 550 network sites across 2,700 towns and villages in the state beginning January 2014. "Besides, the company aims to add 7,000 new retail points to reach 60,000," Satish Kannan, circle business head (Andhra Pradesh), Uninor, said here on Tuesday.
The company has also planned a special extravaganza in mini clusters across the circle, over a period of three months. Several on-ground activities are a part of a special Carnival that brings Uninor closer to its customers with products like 25 paisa, it said in a release.
