UTV Software net dips 68% to Rs 10 cr

Media and entertainment firm UTV Software Communications today reported a decline of 68.42 per cent in its consolidated net profit at Rs 10.35 crore for the quarter ended September 30, over the same period last year.

Total revenues rose to Rs 237.67 crore for the quarter ended July-September, up 39.11 per cent from Rs 170.85 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal, UTV Software said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE).

On the standalone basis, the company has posted a net profit of Rs 2.75 crore in the latest quarter, down 33.25 per cent from Rs 4.12 crore in the same period last fiscal.Shares of UTV Software Communications were trading at Rs 427 on the BSE, up 1.96 per cent from its previous close.
