Campaigning for first phase ends

The polling for the first phase of Gujarat Assembly polls got over on Tuesday. Voting for the first phase will take place on December 13 in 87 constituencies spread over 15 districts of the state. Saurashtra and southern parts of the state would go for poll on Thursday to elect representatives from among 846 candidates including 46 women. Gujarat will go to the polls in two phases on December 13 and 17. The counting of votes will take place on December 20.
