'Be India 2011' show in Mumbai from Feb 8

A four-day Global Bauma Conexpo Show "Be India 2011" will be organised from February 8 next year at Mumbai for construction machinery, building material machinery, mining machinery, commercial vehicles and allied industry.

The show will have the opportunity to showcase and compare latest technologies and innovations from manufacturers from all over the world.

"This will set a positive stimulus for the demand of new equipment in order to improve construction performances," Thomas Loeffler, CEO, bC Expo India Pvt Ltd told media persons here last evening.

BC India is a joint venture between two international trade show organisers: Messe Munechen International, organiser of Bauma and AEM, organiser of Conexpo-CON/AGG, Loeffler added.

 

Nearly 420 exhibitors from more than 28 countries are participating in the show, with more than 65 per cent of the exhibitors having their headquarters abroad. Approximately 35 per cent of the exhibitors are from India, he said.

We also have nine country pavilions at bC India, which furthermore underlines the international character of the show. Australia, China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain and UK will organise a pavilion at the Expo, the CEO said.

An Advisory Board of experts from the sector is supporting the organisers of the fair MMG and AEM- with the strategic orientation of bC India. These experts come from ACE, Ashok Leyland, John Deere, Doosan, Haver and Boecker, JCB, Kobeico, Libeherr, Liugong, Maintowoc, Putzmeister, Schwing Stetter, Terex Voltas, Volvo and Zoolion.

Companies like Caterpillar,Doka, Greaves, Kirloskar, Mahindra and Mahindra, Peri, Sandvik, TIL, Wirtgen will be participating at bC India 2011, Leoffler said.
