Bengal seeks NHPC's termination from Purulia project

West Bengal has sought the termination of NHPC as an implementing agency for the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) under the 11th plan at Purulia district. State power minister Manish Gupta said the progress of work at the NHPC project in Purulia was not satisfactory in the last six months.
