BJP wants MLAs out

Press Trust Of India Bangalore
The BJP's Karnataka unit on Thursday filed an application before the assembly speaker Krishna seeking disqualification of its MLAs -- Gopala Krishna Belur and H Halappa -- from assembly membership under the provisions of the Anti-Defection Law.

The BJP legislature party secretary submitted the application citing that two of its MLAs have attracted provisions of the anti-defection law for their 'anti-party' activities.
