Crude oil prices up in Asian trade

| Oil prices rose in Asian trade today after further hints the OPEC cartel could cut production again next month in order to support the market, dealers said. At 0803 IST New York's main contract, light sweet crude for January delivery, was up 27 cents at $59.51 a barrel. OPEC is due to meet again in mid December. |
