HRD bills getting delayed

Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal’s reforms in the higher education sector through bills, such as the National Accreditation Regulatory Authority for Higher Educational Institutions got further delayed on Monday, as the Lok Sabha, was repeatedly adjourned over the Maharashtra violence issue. Sibal had on Friday assured the house he would make the necessary changes and present the bill on Monday, after the Opposition BJP slammed the bill as “unconstitutional.”
