India 6th On Global Retail Development Index

India has been ranked sixth on a global retail development index (GRDI) developed by consulting firm A T Kearney.

China has topped the list, followed by the Slovak Republic, Hungary, the Russian Federation, Morocco and India.

The ranking has been developed for providing global retailers an insight into the emerging retail markets and prioritise the options for retailers planning to enter new markets.
