Jerome wants to prosecute Gowda

Former Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) commissioner Jayakar Jerome has sought the permission of the government of Karnataka to prosecute former prime minister H D Deve Gowda for leveling 'serious allegations' of corruption against him during his tenure at the BDA, according to sources at the department of personnel and administrative reforms.

Jerome has sought permission keeping with Rule 17 of the All India Service Rules.
