Single Window clears formulations unit
The manufacturing unit would create direct employment for 180 people

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) has cleared the proposal by Odisha Formulations Pvt Ltd to set up a manufacturing unit for intra venous fluids at Khurda. The facility would come up at an investment of Rs 56 crore on a three-acre plot.
The manufacturing unit would create direct employment for 180 people.
The SLSWCA discussed on water availability issues for a coal tar pitch plant. The authority would reconsider the proposal.

Himadri Chemicals & Industries Ltd, the flagship group of the Kolkata-based Himdari Group, has proposed to set up a coal tar pitch manufacturing facility at Kenghati in Sambalpur district at a cost of Rs 56.63 crore.
The coal tar plant would have a capacity of 84,000 tonne per annum. The company has already acquired 12.89 acres of private land on long-term lease basis (99 years). The project has an employment potential for 130 people including 101 for supervisory & workers cadre and 29 managerial and office staff.
Of the total project cost of Rs 56.63 crore, Rs 46.63 crore would be raised through debt while the balance Rs 10 crore would be met from the company's internal accruals.
