SBI's paperless transaction facility

State Bank of India (SBI) has launched ‘Green Channel Counter’ facility at four branches in Lucknow.

The facility gives the Bank’s customers ease of transacting their business without filling any pay-in-slips or draw checks.

“It is an endeavour to shift to paperless banking and at present 3 types of transactions viz cash deposits, cash withdrawals and fund transfer up to Rs 40,000 have been enabled with SBI shopping-cum-ATM card,” SBI chief general manager B V Chaubal said.

The facility has been launched to mark the 55 th Foundation Day of the Bank.It aims at reaching new heights through different such schemes. The bank also plans to launch other customer- friendly services.
