Bse Traning Inst To Organize Workshop On Financial Products

The BSE Training Institute, the education wing of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), is organising a one-day workshop on Financial Products Structuring on August 31.
The workshop has been designed to spark innovative thinking among finance professionals including investment bankers, consultants, corporate executives, brokers.
Moreover, the workshop aims at providing in-depth knowledge on a specific subject in finance, touch diversified areas of finance, and explore the structuring and restructuring of financial products.

The course broadly covers financial innovations across the globe, strategic uses of derivatives such as options and futures in structuring and restructuring financial products, and derivatives linked to commodities, securities, currencies and bullion etc.
The fee for participating in the workshop is Rs 2,000 per head. The training institute is also conducting a one-day training programme on 'Compliance in Corporate Governance' on September 4. Of late, corporate governance assumes great significance in the background of enhancing shareholders wealth and increasing accountability of the corporate activity.
The workshop covers codes of corporate governance, role of management & board of directors, interpretation of related clauses in listing agreement: compliance/disclosure requirements in corporate governance, compliance requirements for mergers & amalgamations, de-merger, stock-split, consolidation, bonus and rights, compliance requirements for insider trading, quarterly results and related disclosures. The fees for this workshop is Rs 2,000 per head.
