Copra Alapuzha firms up on good demand

Copra Alapuzha prices firmed up in an otherwise steady spices market here today owing to better demand from retail consumers and stockists amid restricted arrivals.

Copra office Alapuzha rose by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 4,950 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,900.

The following are today's closing rates in rupees, with the previous rates in brackets:
