Nagarjuna Construction jumps up on NHAI order

| Nagarjuna Construction surged on winning a large order. The stock in today's subdued market was up over 3 per cent in intra-day before ending marginally lower at Rs 1,122.30. |
| The stock had hit a new 52-week high of Rs 1,172 in intra-day trades today with volumes accounting for more than 44 thousand shares on BSE. |
| Nagarjuna Construction today announced that it secured two new major orders aggregating Rs 414 crore. |
| These orders include a project valued at Rs 266 crore from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for construction of national highway project on NH-28 from Lucknow to Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh. |
| Another project amounts to Rs 148 crore for rural electrification under "Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikiran Yojana" on turnkey basis in Uttar Pradesh. |
