Reliance, Itc Soar

Indian Global Depository Receipts (GDRs) traded flat during early trading hours on Friday.

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively-traded Indian depository receipts, traded flat at 471.89.

The ITC GDR gained 1.27 per cent to $14.33, while Reliance Industries climbed 0.18 per cent to $10.97.

However, Ranbaxy Laboratories shed 1.79 per cent to $15.40. Hindalco eased 0.76 per cent to $13 and State Bank of India dropped 0.66 per cent to $15.10.

On Thursday, the ISDI shed 1.34 per cent to close at 472.22. The ISDI P/E ratio also fell by 1.38 per cent to 9.94.

On Thursday, Indian securities listed on US markets witnessed a mixed trend. Infy, the Infosys Tech ADS shed $0.57 to $41.61. Sify, the Satyam Infoway ADR, lost $0.23 to $7.30. Redf, the Rediff.com ADR, eased $0.57 to $5.70.

 

IBN, the ICICI Bank ADR, gained $0.12 to $5.87, while VSL, the VSNL ADR, slipped $0.03 to $3.42. Wit, the Wipro ADR, also lost $0.15 to $21.16.
