Saria prices up on fresh buying activity

Saria prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne in the local steel market today on fresh buying activity following pick-up in demand. 

Fresh buying activity by stockists following pick-up in demand from constructions units, mainly pushed up saria prices, traders said.  

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm were up by Rs 200 each to Rs 43,400, Rs 42,700 and Rs 42,000, respectively, while saria 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to Rs 42,500 per tonne.
