Saria strengthens on increased demand

Saria strengthened in the wholesale steel market today on increased offtake by stockists to meet increased demand, driven by an upswing in constructions.
Other steels, however, after trading in a tight range settled at previous levels.
In the saria segment, kamdhenu 8-mm, 10-mm, 12-mm and 16-25mm traded higher by Rs 200 each at Rs 43,700, Rs 43,000, Rs 42,300 and Rs 42,500 per tonne, respectively.
