Sensex down 10pts; HDFC gains 2%

The Sensex is now down 10 points at 14,243.

Satyam has shed 2% to Rs 468. Infosys has declined 1.7% to Rs 2,327, and Ranbaxy has slipped 1.4% to Rs 390.

Reliance Communications, HLL and BHEL are down over 1% each to Rs 447, Rs 198 and Rs 2,339, respectively.

HDFC has moved up 1.7% to Rs 1,681. Bharti Airtel and Hero Honda have advanced over 1% each to Rs 801 and Rs 725, respectively.

Out of 2,367 stocks traded so far, 1,206 have declined, 1,095 have advanced and the rest are unchanged.
