Sensex down 20pts; Ranbaxy advances 2%

The Sensex is now down 20 points at 14,382.

Ranbaxy has advanced over 2% to Rs 400. Tata Steel, Hero Honda and Reliance are up 1% each at Rs 448, Rs 724 and Rs 1,431, respectively.

Reliance Communications, ONGC and Grasim have slipped nearly 1.5% each to Rs 456, Rs 893 and Rs 904, respectively.

Maruti and ACC are down 1% each to Rs 904 and Rs 1,006, respectively.

Out of 2,315 stocks traded, 1,400 have declined, 851 have advanced and 64 are unchanged.
