Sensex pares gains; market breadth turns -ve

The Sensex has pared some of its gains and is now up 61 points at 10,984.

HDFC, Reliance Energy, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel and Grasim are up around 1.5% each at Rs 1,247, Rs 462, Rs 2,613, Rs 517 and Rs 2,146, respectively.

ONGC, Bharti Airtel, Ranbaxy, Dr.Reddy's and TCS are up 1% each.

SBI has slipped 1.5% to Rs 818.

The market breadth has turned negative - out of 2,365 stocks traded so far, 1,223 have advanced, 1,158 have declined and 84 are unchanged.
