Sensex rebounds; BHEL rallies 3%

| The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up 10 points at 10,754. Hindalco, Gujarat Ambuja, Reliance Communications and HDFC Bank have dropped around 2% each to Rs 158, Rs 103, Rs 258 and Rs 781, respectively. Cipla and HLL have shed 1.5% each to Rs 232 and Rs 229, respectively. Hero Honda, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank and Reliance Energy have slipped 1% each. BHEL has rallied 3% to Rs 2,104. Larsen & Toubro and Bharti Bharti have advanced 1.5% each to Rs 2,245 and Rs 389, respectively. Out of 2,442 stocks traded so far, 1,329 have declined, 1,031 have advanced and the rest are unchanged. |
