Sensex rebounds, up 2pts

The Sensex has rebounded into the positive zone and is now up six points at 14,259.

Bharti Airtel and HDFC have moved over 2% each to Rs 808 and Rs 1,683, respectively.

Hero Honda has advanced 1.6% to Rs 728. Reliance Energy, Tata Steel and Maruti are up over 1% each to Rs 527, Rs 449 and Rs 902, respectively.

Ranbaxy, Satyam and Infosys have slipped around 1.7% each to Rs 388, Rs 469 and Rs 2,326, respectively.

Reliance Communications, HLL, BHEL and ACC are down over 1% each to Rs 447, Rs 197, Rs 2,337 and Rs 1,004, respectively.

Out of 2,437 stocks traded so far, 1,200 have declined, 1,161 have advanced and 76 are unchanged.
