Sensex soars 325pts; breadth very firm

The Sensex is now up 325 points at 14,335.

Larsen & Toubro, Satyam, Bharti Airtel, Cipla and Gujarat Ambuja have rallied around 4% each to Rs 1,683, Rs 484, Rs 793, Rs 254 and Rs 136, respectively.

Hero Honda, ICICI Bank, Infosys and Hindalco have advanced around 3.5% each to Rs 738, Rs 947, Rs 2,365 and Rs 152, respectively.

Out of 2,604 stocks traded so far, 2,115 have advanced, 451 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
