Silver futures up 0.45% on global cues
Strong overseas markets pushed up the metal

Silver futures rose by Rs 734 to Rs 59,204 per kg today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the March contract shot up by Rs 734, or 0.45% to Rs 59,204 per kg in 8,576 lots.
The May contract moved up by Rs 286, or 0.43% to Rs 60,551 per kg in 376 lots.
Analysts said speculators enlarging their positions and firm overseas markets pushed up silver futures.
Meanwhile, silver gained 0.2% to $ 31.09 an ounce after reaching $ 31.49 yesterday—the highest since December 19.
