State Bank top GDR gainer

ADR/GDR REPORT

The Instanex Skindia DR Index was down 1.18 per cent to 1348.37 in Wednesday's early morning trades. The ISDI GDR stocks, five advanced while two lost ground.

The major gainers were, SBI up 1.54 per cent to $42.75 with volumes of 5300 GDRs, Bajaj Auto up 1.29 per cent to $31.50 and Reliance up 0.55 per cent to $29.05 with volume of 1,446 GDRs. The major losers were Hindalco down 1.75 per cent to $28 with volume of 1,446 GDRs, ITC down 0.95 per cent to $39.13.

Among the ISDI ADRs, two advanced and six lost ground. The gainers were VSNL up 14.82 per cent to $15.03, MTNL up 3 per cent to $7.21. The major losers were Infosys down 6.85 per cent to $72.50, Satyam Computers down 5.78 per cent $25.9 and Wipro down 3.72 per cent to $20.70.

The Instanex DR Index was down 1.01 per cent to 1351.07 and was trading at a P/E of 21.50.
