Steel, iron prices unchanged in thin trade

Quiet conditions persisted on the local steel and iron market as prices moved in a tight range in the absence of worthwhile buying activity and settled around previous levels.

Traders said absence of worthwhile buying activity kept steel prices around previous levels.
