Shares of YES Bank, ITC, Tata Motors, Tata Motors DVRs, Tata Steel and Vedanta hit fresh 52-week lows on the BSE on Monday after nearly two percentage points fall in the benchmark indices on sharp selling by foreign investors. The stocks were among the hardest hit on the S&P BSE Sensex.
As many as 104 stocks from the S&P BSE 500 index, which accounts for 96 per cent of the market captialisation of total BSE-listed companies, were trading at their respective 52-week lows on the BSE.
