(Uttar Pradesh) [India], Apr 14 (ANI): Every person in the country is in favour of getting one more term, said veteran here on Sunday.

"Every person in the country is in favour of giving another term to Narendra Modi," he said, adding that PM Modi is the people's 'saviour.'

"He is a kind of saviour for us. Every individual, including me and Hema, wants him to become the again," he told ANI, asserting that his wife would win this time too.

Exuding confidence that she would again win from here, Hema appealed the people to vote for her on the basis of development, which has taken place in the past five years in the constituency.

"There was a lot of excitement among the people when they saw Dharam ji. We have appealed to the people to vote for us on the basis of development. People were excited to see Dharmendra and me together. The response was wonderful," Malini told reporters.

Earlier in the day, Malini took to to announce that her husband would campaign for her on Sunday.

"Today is a special day for me! Dharamji is here in Mathura to campaign for the whole day on my behalf. The public are waiting eagerly to get a glimpse of him and listen to what he has to say," she wrote on

The election to Mathura Lok Sabha constituency is slated to be held in the second phase of polling on April 18. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.
