One Direction member Zayn Malik was left fuming and upset by drug abuse claims made on him live on US TV, it has been revealed.
The 21-year-old singer told The Sun that he was really angry and upset by what was said and he was really ill at the weekend, that's why he couldn't fly to America.
The Brit band, who recently appeared on 'Today Show' excused Malik's absence, saying that it was due to illness.
Malik's rep told Mirror that the Brit singer was taken ill after recording the Band Aid single and was not well enough to fly to the USA.
