Priyanka Gandhi urges people to support Rahul Gandhi in Amethi

Congress President Sonia Gandhi's daughter Priyanka Gandhi urged people to support Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi the way they supported her father and former Indian prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.

"If you supported Rajiv Gandhi, it was because Rajiv Gandhi changed this constituency entirely. You supported Sonia Gandhi because she worked day and night to work for you. And, you will support Rahul Gandhi as you know that he will work for you with full devotion and love," said Priyanka.

Priyanka also said people of Amethi experienced a golden period under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi. In that period, she mentioned, that Rajiv Gandhi had carried out major developments like land reform and establishment of various institutes in the city.
