Veteran Pakistan journalist Majid Nizami passes away

Veteran Pakistan journalist and editor-in-chief of the Nawai Waqt Group, Majid Nizami, died in Lahore on Saturday. He was 86.

Nizami was suffering from a heart ailment and was admitted to a private hospital here three weeks ago.

He took charge of the Nawai waqt media group after the death of his elder brother and legendary journalist Hameed Nizami.

His funeral prayers were offered at Lahore's Bagh-i-Jinnah this morning.
