The youth Congress will on Monday stage a protest in the capital over the Land Acquisition Bill.
Earlier on Friday, party leader Jairam Ramesh had said that the opposition parties in the Rajya Sabha are against the amendments in the Land Acquisition Bill as it is anti-farmer.
He had also said that the bill would only profit businessmen.
Last week, the Lok Sabha passed the Land Acquisition Bill of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP Government at the Centre via a voice vote. Nine amendments to the bill have been adopted.
