Alstom T & D India secures contract worth Rs 800 crore approx.

To supply transformers package for Neyveli New Thermal Power Project

Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract by Essar Projects India close to Euro 11 million (Rs 800 crore approx.) to supply transformers package for Neyveli New Thermal Power Project (NNTPP) located in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.

Under the scope of the contract, Alstom will be engaged in designing, engineering, manufacturing, testing, installation and commissioning of a set of generator transformers upto 200 MVA, 80 MVAR reactor along with other associated equipment.
